This is an interesting property. Since overhauling started on our own Lighthouses For Sale Or Rent website, this exceptional lighthouse tower and adjoining lighthouse keeper accommodation was placed for sale by Reeds Rains Estate Agency. However, the Old Lighthouse at Paull in Hull appears to have recently gone off of the market. We are not totally sure whether or not has been sold subject to contract, or given the emptiness illustrated in the rooms, whether there is another reason.
This particular lighthouse page may be an example of how these things come to be bought via all sorts of hurdles. This very photogenic, and complete LIGHTHOUSE TOWER including the home of the former lighthouse keeper attached will suit several of our readers. The question is: Is it still for sale? Even if not, might it come back up for sale? In this respect we need to amend this page with a couple of relevant update.

LHFS – IMPORTANT NOTICE 2: IF this sale goes through – and it is always worth keeping in touch with the selling agency as many, many sale transaction hit the rocks, the buyer may be a developer, in which case you should consider keeping an eye on it coming back to market for sale in a fully refurbished condition. As the saying goes: watch this space. This may be an apt piece of guidance for this lighthouse tower property.
LHFS ADVICE: Alternatively, if this building really does it for you, it may just be worth sending a polite letter to the address and asking if the NEW owner would consider reselling to yourself? There is generally no harm in opening up a line of communication. We have certainly bought more than one building through these gentle and courteous processes. To find out would cost you a sheet of paper; an envelope; a postage stamp and a few words on paper. You never know, such a missive could change your life.

Whatever else, this is a fabulous looking building and home, and the price tag is very competitive. Though it may need some TLC., and certainly an exterior coat of paint would lift the building and give it a much-cared-for appeal.
