Pendeen Lighthouse lies six miles north of Land’s End and two miles from St Just. The lighthouse was established in 1900, electrified in 1926 and automated in 1994. Pendeen Lighthouse Tower is still an operational lighthouse and there is an electronic fog signal that operates automatically; ear plugs are provided in case conditions are misty. IMPORTANT: The cliff edge is protected by a 4′ high wall, for safety it is IMPERATIVE that children are supervised at all times.
